Hi I am waking up every couple of hours to pee I go right back to sleep but I am exhausted.  I have diabetes just diagnosed but can control with diet.  I am healthy other wise.  What can I do to get sleep.  I tried the not drinking at night no caffine no sugar I really am exhausted with no sleep or little sleep.  I really think it is the peeing and I do not know if anything will help.  Anyone has an answer

Since you say you've just been diagnosed with diabetes, I think it would be a good idea to discuss this with your doctor. It sounds as if your diabetes might not be completely under control, and you might need medication as well.

Agree with Lily re: diabetes.  Also, you might want to get a sleep study.  You could be experiencing sleep apnea, which is keeping you from getting sleep.

Hi i am exactly the same about 10 times a night now i am diagnosed with insomnia, but i do not have diabetes, but i do have anxiety ,depression, ibs , ocd, eating disorders, bdd, migraines, and the list goes on, but the sleep or should i say lack of, everyone on here says at least one of these is a cause , i know it can be a vicious circle, if you worry about something it keeps you awake, if you are awake from peeing then you are worrying about that, and the list goes on, like you try everything no caffeine, herbal tea no drinks after 7, waste of time, apart from having it sewn up lol, nothing stops you peeing, i  am just happy to be able to get back to sleep again  eventually, but you should talk to your doctor about your concerns X
