Peeing over 20 times a day 2 years after TUIP surgery

this is about my bf(24yrs) not me, just posting because im worried about him & maybe other people in here have experienced something similar. He’s been having a flare up for the past two days and it’s so bad he peed 35oz in just two hours

The urologist said maybe years down the line he would begin to have flare ups and would need to come back in but he began to have problems only months after the TUIP surgery(such as having to get up multiple times a night to pee.)

I don’t know his full history but it would be insightful to hear from others who have had the same surgery or similar and their experiences, thanks.
