At first you need check you do not have infection. When in menopause is normal your bladder is over active!

Hi Susan, They keep at least one ovary in if the ovaries are in good shape, this avoids women going into full on menopause which would be very hard on the body....think of how the body is adjusting in perimenopause imagine a full blown withdrawl....yikes! Noticing that both of you ladies have had a hysterectomy, it might be a good idea to see a pelvic floor physiotherapist, with your uterus gone, the bladder has lost its support in keeping it in place...this is not uncommon with women that have no uterus. The bladder and uterus sit side by side, with one gone the other will change position.

HI there, As suggested, I would first rule out cystits, bladder infection.I have had this symptom your are describing on and off for about two years now.I saw many doctors and specialists, and I was told it could be, utheral syndrome, intersistial cystitis, or an over active bladder..........all confusing seeing I had no bladder issues beforE? I started keeping a diary, and it seemed worse during hormonal fluctuations that went with my cycle.I went to acupuncture therapy followed by pelvic floor physiotherapist, all has helped. I should mention this was the first peri symptom I got, since that it has been a roller coaster of new odd symptoms that come and go......Doctors say its caused by stress, I believe it is more hormonal.
