HI, so i have a penis skin condition for about 4 months and it doesnt go away...i am virgin and uncircumised. At the beginning it started with the penis glans and foreskin being red and itchy, i went to a dermatologist. He said that it was some kind of mild balanoposthitis, he prescribed me a Fluprednidene acetate+miconazole cream and a bifonazole cream..There was a mild improvement but once i stopped using them, the symptoms came back again. i went to a second dermatologist, he prescribed me antifungal pills which i took them for one month but saw no improvement. Because i was masturbating too much i had a decrease in sperm volume and pain in penis and testicles.i went to an urologist and he said that i had a mild prostatitis that causes the balanoposthitis, i took ciprofloxacin antibiotics for one month, but again saw no improvement. I need to know what this is because it is so frustrating. Please someone see the photos and reply to me as soon as possible.

Hi George, in parts of the world the condition you mention of balanoposthitis is better known as Balanitis, of which there are several forms. I have an incurable variation of the condition and I have been treating this, largely, by self-managing it, and with a prescribed steroidal ointment.
As you are in the early stages of wherever it ACTUALLY is that you have I would highly recommend that you take a long-term approach to this - fundamentally, learn to be Skin Kindly to your penis, AND, give your penis an Exercise Holiday. If you can, NO masturbation for at least 2 or 3 weeks - the benefits you are likely to gain will particularly rewarding. If after 3 weeks and there is some, or minor improvement, try to dig deep into your self-determination and add another 3 or 4 weeks of no masturbation.
At the bottom of this reply I will post the current information on Balanitis from the NHS here in the UK - read it and see how much of it is familiar, and take note of what it recommends that you do deal with your condition. Additionally, as I have posted on this site a number of times, similar recommendations for similar conditions I will re-post the details of what I recommend:-
>>>>>>>>
Try this for a while (2 / 3 weeks) - do not use soap, or shower gel etc, or skin cream / lotion or any form of lube (oil or water based) - always wash with water (never hot water) only after urinating (in public toilets go in a cubicle and use toilet paper to ensure the head n surrounding area is 100% dry) when showering make sure the skin of the penis is drawn forward to cover the head to protect the area from soap / shower gel getting on it. At the end of the shower, expose the head of the penis and wash with water only - make sure the entire penis is 100% dry afterwards. Combine this with giving your penis an 'exercise holiday' - no masturbation or sexual activity, you may need to do this for as long as 5 or 6 weeks. You MUST continue to gently stretch the skin near the head of the penis as the skin is constantly renewing itself - particularly for those not circumcised! <<<<<<
If there are any further issues not covered above that you need to know about, simply update this post here, or, PM me by clicking on my "Wee Dugie" hot-link and I will get back to you (eventually) .......

I wonder if it is still the Fluprednidene acetate that you are still applying to your penis? Often it is common for users either to not apply it correctly, or to not apply it frequently enough to gain the right kind of improvement the infected skin requires. In addition, some skin types / severity of infections mean that the infected skin will not respond in the intended positive manner and another type of steroid needs to be tried, until a successful one is found. The most favoured corticosteroid for penile skin conditions is Clobetasol - and many skin complaint sufferers find it is the ointment version only that is helpful to them. The important thing is the strength of the active steroid content of the ointment and this is what you need to match with the severity of the condition / infection you have.
Try this for at least 3 complete weeks: If you still have sufficient Fluprednidene apply it to the infected area of your penis twice a day at times when you are least likely to urinate - such as when you go to work, or when you go to bed. Rub it in for at least 90 seconds, or spend 2 or 3 minutes using more of a massage action to ensure it is worked well into your skin. If after 7 days you start to see definite improvement, try applying for 7 days once a day only. The aim is that you should eventually only need to apply the Fluprednidene 3, or perhaps even twice a week - if you have no improvement after 7 days of applying it twice a day keep applying it for a further 14 days to see what happens.
If you get no lasting benefit you are either using the wrong steroid, or the treatment you have is not for the actual condition you have - perhaps going back to the first Dermatologist you saw would be an option, or if your symptoms get worse, try seeing a Urologist .......
