Hi, yes I get this too. I think it could also be a sign of low progesterone too especially if you get it off and on throughout the month. It can also happen when you ovulate. I get this when I ovulate. But if they told you it was a uti then that's more than likely why you had this pain.

I had the same thing last year and didn't realize that besides the UTI I also had BV. You should get tested for bv as it causes similar side effects.

I was the same way. Dr prescribed antibiotics for a bladder infection and gyn prescribed metrogel for a bv at the same time and then I got a horrendous yeast infection from all the antibiotics. Took diflican for that. Now I have been burning and irritated. Which is distracting to say the least. I am trying to let my system reset from all the bs. I wonder if I have a beginnings of a bv again. Gyno has a standing prescription for metragel but I don't want to go through the cycle over again. I have been taking avo for urinary health because I am obsessing over if my urine is cloudy again, I even have had my husband look at it. Geez. Just feel like banging my head against the wall. I just had a complete stomach ultrasound on Wed. NP called with the results but I missed her call, of course. Now I won't know what is what until Monday.
I agree a BV can have similar side effects. I didn't have any odor or itching at all with my bv though I did have a hint of a yellow discharge. Gyno had to microscope it to diagnose it. Though I have had a bv last year where it was maddenly itchy. Dr misdiagnosed it as a yeast so I was in vag hell for about 6 weeks. I went to the ER because I was so in misery.
