Pelvic burning ache feeling

I have this ache in my groin either side of my hip, both sides all the time & sometimes right across.

3 years ago started mildly now unbearable.

Burning tugging heavy feeling bloated, backache.

Can feel it going down top of my legs too.

I have mild crohns..

Previous history ovarian cyst many years ago, part fallopian tubes also removed.

Age 53, periods now erratic, can be 3 months or 11 month intervals.

Internal ultrasound done last year but bowel was in the way.

IBD consultant suggested Iliac fossa pain.

Awaiting sigmoidoscopy appointment, will they be able to see iliac fossa on this scope ?

Not sure whether to wait for this to be done if they can see that area, or go GP & ask for investigation on ovaries etc.

Any advice welcome :o)

    Hi! I had the exact same symptoms and mine was 2 ovarian cysts. My pain would build and by night I had to lie flat, sitting was very uncomfortable.

    I ended up having both cysts removed along with both ovaries and  tubes. (I’m 52)
