Pelvic MRI

Hi, I’m due to have a pelvic MRI tomorrow, and was wondering if anyone could tell me what this entails as I’ve read lots of conflicting stories online. Many Thanks

     I’ve had two of them. Not such a big deal. You just lay there and the machine moves around and makes a lot of noise. If you’re having it with contrast, there is an injection of dye which could cause a warm sensation.  Any other questions or concerns?  Good luck!

    Nothing nasty......I found it very relaxing.  Make sure you dont wear any metal items like zips, jewellery, watch,hearing aids,and make sure they know about any metal implants you may have.   You can ask them to stop at any time and if you are feeling very nervous let them know beforehand.  You may be asked to wear a hospital gown.  just relax and close your eyes if you want. Some people fall asleep.
