pelvic pain

Experiencing pelvic pain since after an endometrial ablation in April this year. From July was feeling better bit in October I was admitted in hospital. So far had laparoscopy, ct scan, kidney scan and a cystoscopy all back negative.Blood test are all fine but I am in constant pain. I am on Gabapentin, diclofenac and oxycode and still experiencing pain ( hence I am up at 3am) can't go back to work, been two months off, I am a single parent and 111 will no longer help as I am classed as a frequent caller and a & e are the same. Have a colonoscopy to do and hope for an MRI scan. I am worried and left on my own as my gp think it's emotional pain . Anyone has any other suggestions? Like tonight I am in a lot of pain, been for the past two days unable to control pain, rang gp and has prescribed me antidepressant. Maybe I am stressed because of it but I am far from being depressed! I need help as don't know where to go to get help.

I have been experiencing the same thing for about two years; I have had several ultrasounds, couple of ct scans, laparoscopy surgery, and a hysterectomy. My doctor is now sending me for physical therapy, all of this with no explanations why I am having pain. I also had a colonoscopy so good luck with your journey to find answers because I haven't. Oh and try not to go crazy when nothing helps I know I have about to several times.

Yes, that's about it, not to go crazy when nothing helps. So have you given up on investigations? I am waiting for an MRI scan, but because the consultant wrote it down as routine checks ( thou he told me I was going to wait a couple of weeks) I have to wait 6 weeks. And to my opinion, a woman that is in that ammount of pain, single working parent as well, with no family around and friends have gotten fed up with helping, well then it should not be routine check....but they don't care. And this is what drives me mad mostly, the fact that they seem not to care and to treat me as if I am pretending and may e a psychopath. .. if only they could experience half of the pain I have maybe they will understand more and perhaps help a little bit more.

Anyway, good luck with your case and as you said, try to not go crazy....

I don't know where to begin. I am posting for my mom. Since May 2014, One year ago, She has been having extreme pelvic pain and pressure. Doctors are baffled and cannot figure out what is wrong with her. She has seen so many specialists and doctors that she is getting very depressed and frustrated. This all started when a dog (great dane) pulled her down the stairs, twice. She fell on her stomach and head. Ever since, she has been in pain. Concidence? I don't know. She had MRIs done, CT SCANs, ULTRASOUNDs, XRAYs, etc. No one knows what is wrong. Her symptoms are pelvic pressure, pelvic pain, bladder prolapse, constiptation. She always say she feels like she has a bowling ball in there or she is sitting on a rock. She cannot sit or stand or sleep properly. Too much pressure and pain, she says. She has been seeing a physiotherapist for exercises but nothing is wrong. She tried actunpunture, heating pads, baths, etc. She is also on gabapentin and had a colonoscopy.
