Pelvic Pain

Hi dear friends,

I've been suffering from pelvic pain for 3 weeks since the last day of my period. It is not a strong pain but still there and making me uncomfortable . For a few days, I'm feeling that I will have my period soon.

I will see my doctor next week but he told me on the phone that you should drink at least 2,5 liters of water because I don't drink much. And in the last days I don't go out for walk and no exercise at all. I have my gynecologic check ups every year and the last one was in last June. Nothing found. I wonder if any one having same complaints like me ?

I have had reoccurring uterine pain that I went to the ER a year ago for. because it worried me. They did a transvaginal ultrasound. Found a smallish benign cyst. Gave me a script for Tramadol. I never took it. I am weird about pain meds. Had follow up TVA with my gyn said nothing to worry about. But she scheduled another TVA a couple months later to make sure there wasn't any changes. All was good. Pain went away. Came back off and on. This past Aug I experienced what felt like ovary pain and pelvic pain. Went back in TVA same cyst, not changed, but my gyn mentioned that I had two ovarian cyst that she said would not cause me pain as she said they were small and most likely from long ago ovulation. (Why not mention it before? It's my body) She did a pelvic. My uterine lining is thin 3 cm. So who knew. Went back in again in September scant spotting and with same issue. ANOTHER TVA, same results though I had a BV. Took metrogel and ended up with a YI, took meds for that, and another BV. You get the picture. Anyway I just had another TVA with same issue and same results uterine lining 3 cm. All cyst are the same. Pelvic pain went away. I will add that I still have the reoccurring lower left ovary, groin area pain on and off since last August. I have had a full body ultrasound. Found a benign cyst on my left kidney. Go back in may to make sure it hasn't changed. Ultrasound Tech said lower left side would just show gas. Have no other symptoms besides pain not strong, but worrying and distracting. I had my pap in Nov 2019 all good.

I am 2.5 years post menopause and 51 (52 in April)

Now I have the stuttering heartbeat. Insomnia. Take chelated magnesium. But have issues once in awhile like now. Twitching eyelid. My husband is confused why I am short on patience and snappy. I am confused why he is confused. lol.

I have brought up the low pain issue with my NP. Still no resolve. But in fairness I had ultrasound on my right knee because I could barely walk and I have severe arthritis. Just has a steroid shot today in that knee. Also wear an athletic knee sleeve the kind the pro athletes wear. Charcoal and geraniums.

Anyway. Post menopause is hell for me, much worse than my peri which was a nightmare. Doesn't mean it will be that way for everyone. I drew the short straw.

I only drink water about 2 liters a day. I think if I could get a good at least 7 hours a sleep a night my body would have time to recover. Also I am overweight. So if I could get my jaw wired shut or have someone slap food out of my hand...plus knee improvement will have me at least dusting off my treadmill with my feet instead of just a duster.

I hope my experiences helps and you feel better soon.

    xx

I have pms pain almost every day of the month now. pelvic and lower back pain. I agree with Keljo48 about losing weight. Im about 30lbs over and I think if I could lose some it would help me alot. Back in the summer I lost about 10 lbs from the southern heat and working in my yard and I was feeling pretty darn good. Not much pain and all perimenopause symptoms improved . Then winter hit and I gained it back. Anxious for the weather to warm up so I can get out and hopefully lose it pluse more. I hope things improve for you.

    Dear all,

Thank you for your all replies. I agree that if I can loose some weight, I will feel better; in all senses.

psychologically and physically as well. I have about 30 lbs overweight.

First I start to feel pelvic pain and then the pain goes through my legs. ( I also have

Ankylosing spondylitis ) Sometimes I'm really scared if there is anything serious with me. I will speak to my doctor to take antidepressants. I'm really obsessive with my health.

I will see my gynecologist this week . I have been reading that pelvic pain can be chronic.

I hope we will all feel better soon. Have a good weekend

    xx
