In January I started to get recocurring Uti's. One day with extreme pelvic pain I came in thinking it was another uti and turns out i didnt have one. This past month has been hell. I get really bad pelvic pain out of nowhere. I feel like I need to pee constantly. and the pressure in my gut is horrible. I have to wait to see an obgyn because theyre so busy but i am literally becoming depressed from how much this has affected my life. i sometimes lay in bed and cannot do anything else. I am so fatigued and its hard to work or do anything when the pain gets bad. also when it hurts i end up bleeding bright red blood when i wipe. i am a 19 year old girl whos healthy otherwise so i dont understand what the problem is. I wake up from the pain, sometimes I have to leave work. I dont know if anyone has gone throigh this or can help me figure out anything similar. i am on depo and dont get periods but they were not bad nor did they ever feel like this. I cant wait for my doctors appointment but i need help right now. pain killers dont help. I literally just have to lay down and hope it goes away within 3 hours. Any help would really make my day. thank. u

I am so sorry that you are dealing with this right now. I am not sure what is going on with you but I do think you need medical help sooner than later. Is there anyway to get an appointment sooner? Are you in the states - could you try planned parenthood? What about your primary doctor? Can you call your OBGYN and explain that it is an emergency - I usually can get in within 24 hours.

Are you bleeding all month? Or just heavy during your period time? Where is the blood coming from? Pelvic pain after UTIs can be IC (Interstitial Cystitis (IC) is a chronic bladder condition resulting in recurring discomfort or pain in the bladder or surrounding pelvic region. People with IC usually have inflamed or irritated bladder walls which can cause scarring and stiffening of the bladder.) I would try to get medical care as soon as possible as there are ways to help such as Uristat, Uribel, Marshmellow Root to sooth bladder. You just need to find out if the problem is coming from your bladder or female organs. I will think positive thoughts for you and hope you have or can get help soon.

Sorry you're in such pain and I whole-heartedly with jen78653-insist on help from someone ASAP. It could still be a UTI that isn't registering on the tests you've had, IC, pelvic floor disorder, STD, anything to do with your reproductive organs. Have you tried an OTC bladder pain medication like AZO, Uricalm or Cystex? Anything with phenazopyridine could help but avoid those with cranberry-acidic foods and beverages only bother an already inflamed bladder. Heating pads and hot water bottles may help the pain. I truly hope you're better soon.

Make an appointment with a urologist immediately. You can still keep your appt. with the obgyn dr. if you want to, but get to a urologist. Explain that you are seeing blood and having sharp pains. This sounds like it could be your bladder talking to you, not your female organs. Best to you.
