EXACTLY same problem. Did you have sex (protected or unprotected) with different women weeks or months before this? Had more noticeable signs before this? Something like pimples/rash?
Please let me know I have same exact problem but I think mine started after getting hsv2... 😦 hope is not the same for you.

how did you test for hsv2? swab or blood test? also was it an Igg specific?

Had many tests at different months since infection. Not high values but one said "positive", last one was 0.9 (the beginning of the dangerous area that is (<0.9 - 1.1>).
Yes they were HSV2 IGG specific (note: I am hsv1 negative).

yeah must be a fairly new infection. if you're hsv1 neg then there wasn't a chance for a false positive I guess. you might be asymptomatic though.

Sort of asymptomatic or... my glans is full of very tiny blisters that don't crust though, they just become more or less visible... this means that I am shedding almost everyday? Note: never had pimples like the first OB in a year.
About my IGG antibodies count test, you think they're higher now? They went from 0.50 (negative, my first test about two months after infection) to "positive" (guess about 1.00) then back to 0.90 (about 10 months after infection)...
I read about slow cases of building ab, but is kinda rare.
Thanks for your time

you don't shed every day. but you can get balanitis because of hsv or so I've heard. so by pimples you mean you had a typical outbreak? blisters crusting and all? usually if you have an initial outbreak you would get recurring ones as well not as severe but they would recur in the same spots give an inch or so. a year by now I would expect your test to have a higher number by now.

Sorry used a wrong word about my glans condition I have NOW (99% like pics posted by joaquin01758), I meant tiny "bumps".
About my first OB, yes, I had not very typical but sure "unique" episode in my life (more or less 10 days after risky intercourse): lot of tiny pimples all over my glans, yes something looking more like a strong balanitis, don't think they crusted, at that time I also didn't have itch or tingling .

I have similar symptoms. although idk if hsv changes the texture of the penis, the only thing I can think of is hpv. I had an unprotected risky exposure. I didn't have symptoms of anything for about two months, well that I can notice anyway. then out of nowhere I got two pinkish circular rashes on my penis glans. I thought rug burn. went away then on and off so I figured balantis since it was only red circular rashes that would go away with hydrocortisone. but now I recently got 2 dry spots on my scrotum that was almost ingrown hair like so I squeezed and picked at them and it created a small open wound. I'm taking an hsv blood test soon. it's been almost a year now so it should be definitive.

Sure, they say 90% of the times the HSV IGG test is definitive after 4 months.
No please don't make me think I also got hpv together with hsv... I'd feel destroyed 😛 but is the only std didnt' test for (don't even know if men could test it)

talk about double whammy. but yeah there are no reliable test for HPV in men. even then a majority of people have it and the immune system should suppress the virus by two years of contracting it. sex is such a double edged sword, wish I was a virgin lol.
