I’m a 37 years old male. I developed a rash on the shaft of my penis a week ago. It only hurts when I put on tight underwear. I’ve been applying OTC antifungal cream on it but it’s not helping.
Please, tell me what should I do? I’m kinda freaking out.
P.S; I haven’t been sexually active for a year now so it can’t be an STD

Apply only Vaseline! I had been cured once from hydrocortisone side effect rash like that! Best option is go to doctor! Vaseline original petroleum jelly is good too!

Thank You! I have been applying antifungal and the redness and irritation has subsided but there's discorolation now, looks like vitiligo spots.

hey champ, it can very well be sti because these can pop up years after the initial contact.
best option is screen for stis.
however if sti is negative, remember it still can be hpv or hsv.
best is to be hopeful that sti screening is positive for something because whatever shows up in blood work can be cured. whatever doesn't has a bit more background story to it.

hey bud!
it doesn't appear to be HPV or HSV sores.. it seems more like yeast infection. Recently, it's been kinda sweaty down there, i don't know why (might be Thyroidal changes).
