Penile shaft itch

Posted , 4 users are following.

hey all, my names Jared and I've been married for 8 years now. I have been faithful to my wife, and i don't believe her to be the type to step out of the marriage. Recently I've had an itch of the lift side of my shaft in a localized area. I tend to have very dry skin and i never use lotion when masturbating. So could it just be dry skin? maybe one of you guys might see it and have another idea? it doesn't bleed and it doesn't burn so i don't think genital herpes. it's also only in one little spot. also no ulcers. just a red shiny spot.File size is too big

I think Thomas is right, but what to do about it: minimise contact with soap, shower gel and other body wash on your penis. Do not apply these directly - when you shower make sure you spend some time using the water to rinse away any body cleansers that have gotten onto your penis, dry this area first with a clean dry towel, and preferably a towel that only you use.

The risk you have is this issue takes hold and causes other skin problems on your penis. I presume you are uncircumcised, if so to clean the head and foreskin area just using water and rub gently with the inside of your hand, again always make sure the head and foreskin area is completely dry after washing.

What your penile skin is in need of is getting the right form of hydration on a regular basis: raw SHEA butter and pure Coconut Oil are the first things to try - try each individually for 3 or 4 months, unless your skin seems to worsen. I would suggest you only need a little of the SHEA butter, but you need to rub it well in until it is absorbed by the skin. Take time to do this correctly, the best time is after you have dried yourself after taking a shower. With the Coconut Oil a light coating is all that is required, I would suggest you use whichever one every other day to start with. Long term pick the one of these that seems to suit your skin the best, and yes, if one of these does suit your skin you will need to regularly use it for the rest of your life, with two no application days, then ensure you use it on the third day.

If other issues occur please update your Forum Post here as I do not deal with PM's / Messaging ......
