Penile tear (NOT the fremulum)

Hello all,

I have researched this and can only find information on Frenulum tear, which is not what I have.

I have had it on and off for almost a year and was wondering if I need to see a doctor or not (not very easy to get an appointment here).

If I go a bit hard during intercourse or masturbation, my foreskin will sometimes make a tear at the joint where it slips over the base of the glans. It is like there is a very thin layer of skin over the glans that it being reptured and there is raw skin underneath (I feel a burning sensation when I put water on it or try to clean it).

I wonder if I should "push it" or let it heal again. Thing is, it always seems to come back later, so I should probably "free it" (sorry English is not my main language). It is kind of painful though so... Don't want to injure myself too badly either.

Was not sure if a picture would be appropriate, but I bet there are moderators or something like other forums to control it if there's anything wrong. It is a forum about penile disorders...

So, anybody dealt with this before? Thank you!

Hi Alex I think what you have is foreskin adhesion to your glans this usually resolves as you you grow up. how old are you now? It is something you always had? you will need to see your doctor about this and get a referral to a urologist.

I have had this for a while, mostly on and off. I am a bit over 30 now so... Guess I'll get an appointment.

I hope I don't have to get surgery..

OK I'd get it checked with your doctor first see what they think. You may need some surgery but it shouldn't be much and should heal quickly. if left you could have more problems later on so it's better to deal with it now.

What the other guy said is true. The best thing would be to have it cut so it will not hurt you can do more damage then good if you wait. Do something now before it gets worse

    Good luck

Sounds like a tear of some sorts. It used to happen to me alot. What you need to do is stretch the foreskin. Exercise your penis foreskin, and the problem will cease.
