Penis foreskin cracks during sex, peeling skin, dots and spots [documented]

Hi,

First of all thank you for your time and sorry for the long post,

I'm a healthy 29y old male and in the past 8 months I've been having some problems when having sex. Around February I've noticed some cracks on my foreskin image, at the time i didn't thought much of it, and it eventually healed up, after that, every time i had my foreskin would always crack in the same spots with the same pattern, and it started to appear even more cracks imageimage, when they happen during sex, i can clearly feel them and it stings a little, but after the act, i would clean it with lukewarm water and i would only feel an occasional sting or 2, and, along with the cracks, i also feel the area where the cracks are very very raw and sensitive to the touch, the rest of the penis is fine. In the healing process, after 1 or 2 days, my skin would feel very dry, accompanied by some peeling skin where the cracks where imageimageimage, that area of the skin, eventually they would heal up, but the skin in that area looks a bit darker than the rest image, the dryness i would fight it with some moisturizer.

In all this months I've tried some approaches to tackle this without success, i used a cleaning solution with neutral PH and no fragrances, anti candida fungal ointment, topical steroid cream, fusidic acid and also elidel, already went to 2 different dermatologists, and the problem still persists, with a down side, that now, it seems to be getting worse as some dots started to appear on the glad imageimageimageimageimage and also on the foreskin area imageimage. Along with all of the this, the redder area of the skin sometimes when is dryer it also looks shinier. I'm posting here in hope of some advice of someone who has gone through the same thing. Before all of this, i had a normal sex life with no problems whatsoever.

Best regards, Thank you,

I have been struggling with this for about half a year at this point and have been to a couple dermatologists. My leading theory is that it is some kind of very resistant yeast infection. I tried Lotrimin and had what seemed to be strong relief from the symptoms initially but ended having a decently bad flair up. Days after this, I switched to something else that my dermatologist recommended so I did not end up trying the Lotrimin for more than 4-5 days (weirdly enough, regular Lotrimin seemed to work better for me than the Lotrimin ultra I am now taking, but I am still trying to give the ultra a fair shot).

So this has to do with a skin condition you may have. I deal with the same thing. It's nothing to freak out about although it can be scary at first. I have a severe case of Fordyce. My skin is completely weak. What I do with these is use Aquafor. It's a gel like cream that I've used for tattoos. It works wonders for cracked skin. I literally feel relieved the same day or next day. Trying to pee is tough because you have to pull back the skin and it stretches the cracked skin and stings. This helps. It will clear them up in a week or so after use everyday or every other day. Just hold off on sex and masterbation. It will cause your skin to dry and immediately will crack.. Hope this helps.

    Hi everyone!

Story with happy ending, so please read it all.

I am not a doctor, but seem to have found the solution. Was concerned about this problem, read this post before in search of a solution, saw how many people struggle with the same problem and now, that I overcame it, would like to share my experience with you and I hope it's helpful!

I had exactly the same problem as the person who created the post originally. I don't know what caused those cracks in my foreskin, it could have happened because of a fungus or because of intense sexual activity. But I am pretty sure that I never had anything in my foreskin. It healed perfectly everytime I stopped masturbating, I couldn't notice a single skin problem and even treated it against fungus, just in case. Everytime I got back to sex/masturbation, the cracks opened and I didn't know what to do. Then I started to think why it happens and it seemed pretty obvious. These cracks/cuts in foreskin happened on the tip, which is very elastic and stretches when the penis is erect. These wounds, if they happen during sex, happen with the hard penis, with the foreskin completely stretched. Then, when injured, the foreskin shrinks and heals during the following days/nights with the penis not erect and the foreskin not retracted. So, these wounds will heal in the wrong position of the skin. Just imagine those skin foldings healing when the foreskin is shrunken and, once healed, you make your penis erect again and, when it unfolds, with the pressure of stretching it opens again, because it should have healed with the skin completely stretched, so it can fold and unfold freely afterwards. I hope I was clear. Now: how to keep the skin stretched when your penis is not hard, in order to heal that way? Well, you need to hold it back, retracted and stretched until it heals completely. It's not easy. When I made these wounds, I cleaned it, made it dry, desinfected it and holded it back as stretched as possible with sticky tape. NExt day I kept it pulled back as long as I could. I even made it take some sunlight to heal faster (not more that 5/10 minutes of sun exposition). The second day I washed it again and when I saw that it healed completely in that stretched position, I would everyday wash it, dry it out and apply some natural oil, to moisturize it (I used a good natural almond oil) and massaged a bit. In 5/6 days after that I was fine. The first time I masturbated I was very careful and before I applied everytime the same natural oil to keep it moisturized, since the skin was still sensitive. This whole procedure I did 2 or 3 times. I had big foreskin cracks and after healing the biggest first, some smaller appeared, that required to repeat the process. The important thing is that everytime such a wound occurs, you make it heal with the stretched skin. I hope this was useful and I regret very much that doctors don't explain such an obvious thing, instead of keeping treating you for fungus, which may have been the cause of the injury, but if your skin doesn't heal properly, the wounds will come back. Good luck!

Quick note: this will work if your skin is healthy. If you have some skin condition, go to a doctor, treat it first, and then this procedure may help.

so basically we should first check with dermatologist for any skin problems and after see the urologist.

i think as others have said, the skin will heal on its own. i actually had a accident when i was a teenager and cut a tiny part of the skin off of my scrotum (balls sack) and it certainly was painful and this happened after puberty so the skin was stretched when it was cut. Of course the skin healed itself and never had any problems or anything after. but its important to note that the healing process proceeded even while the skin rolled back up and stretched again on its own naturally.

So having said that im not so sure if the actual penis skin (and my tear is on the shaft area and i am circumcised since birth) absolutely must be stretched in order to heal correctly. Plus anyways how can we be so sure that if the skin heals only when it is stretched will prevent new tears on the same spot as before ? I mean i guess i just dont follow you correctly

maybe in my situation i suspect i just had not been engaging in sexual activity be it masturbation and intercourse for a while and so the sudden "rough intercourse" after days of masturbation just caused the tear and maybe also the foreskin failed function as it would normally as this was "rough intercourse"

anyways please let me know your thoughts

this is happening to me right now, i get rash (tiny non painful red bumps) from beating my meat too much but it goes away after some days but this is the first time i'm actually getting these cuts in my foreskin I don't want this too be a reoccurring problem so once i get healed i'm getting circumcised.

JOP1315 thank you for sharing this and I have exactly the same thing - the way the foreskin tears after sex, the way it looks, etc. Your thread has helped me a lot and I was able to get better with over the counter antifungal creams (lotrimin). I still get tears from time to time but much better. Good luck and hope you get well soon.

Hey there Man. Do you use latex condoms during sex? I think this is an allergy that you have from latex or the lubricating gel inside the condom.

Even I started to have these skin tearing since when I started using condoms.

It also becomes itchy sometimes. Now for treatment I am applying coconut oil on the affected area and I am avoiding using latex condoms for sometime, lets see if I can get any improvement.

This has been going on for over a month and I've tried everything also. Was told it was a yeast infection at one time but no transfer to wife no smell just rips and a vein at tip of foreskin. Thinking of a circumcision if doesn't heal. Wife says my penis is just big and it's stretch marks? No joking but who knows if that can happen.

real question is anyone using penis equipment Pump,C-ring? be truthful we all want answers right. We are adults . I use both and sure might be stretching it to much.

hello thank you very much for sharing and thanks for the details. i hope you ultimately beat this and recover to have a normal sex life.

it looks like i may have got the same thing and maybe rough intercourse is to blame. i just dont know but i have not only the tears (seems like just one noticeable one) but also an after effect of a stinging feeling although ive washed with luke warm water and basic over the counter soap bar, Dettol, to be exact. (Im in north Africa). the stinging i think is maybe due to the bandage wrap i made over the penis after washing it. its not too much and probably will subside on its own i hope. but i am concerned about the time between the first signs of this maybe "balanitis" as was mentioned in this thread as the possible culprit and then how fast and to what exactly this can evolve into and the newly added risk factors as a result of leaving this untreated to heal on its own of course all the while abstaining from any further sexual activity.

so please continue to share any more updates.

also i generally keep good hygiene but my skin does get dry due to hot showers and the warmer weather these days. i do have small to medium length pubic hair and my wife also has been using some sort of cleaning soap for vaginal washing but i suspect its actually the pH from this very product that caused this problem in addition to rough intercourse.

can anyone recommend a good urologist to see online as id rather start with one online and then see one locally where i am at after so i have a better idea before i opt for any kind of antibiotics or creams etc (and yeah steriod creams are probably not a good idea. maybe coconut oil could help but again its a question of the source of the problem i think to prevent further complications.)

hey man! ive been going through the same thing.

it started 7 months ago- started having too much sex with my GF and the tip of my foreskin began to tear and rip like yours. This developed into Phimosis where i couldnt even retract the foreskin while soft, and infection that turned into dots on the gland.... i was prescribed a steroid cream (Betamethasone) which helped heal, but thinned out the skin, so avoid it.

I had to get circumcised, which is one of the worse things ive ever experienced... i renewed sexual activity after 3 months, and right away i started getting the same rips and tears, but right under the circumcision scar.

long story short im pretty much back to square one, and pretty frustrated. How is your situation? I see a lot of people here having the same issue,

so ill report back if i find appropriate treatment.
