Penis foreskin cracks during sex, peeling skin, dots and spots [documented]

Hi,

First of all thank you for your time and sorry for the long post,

I'm a healthy 29y old male and in the past 8 months I've been having some problems when having sex. Around February I've noticed some cracks on my foreskin image, at the time i didn't thought much of it, and it eventually healed up, after that, every time i had my foreskin would always crack in the same spots with the same pattern, and it started to appear even more cracks imageimage, when they happen during sex, i can clearly feel them and it stings a little, but after the act, i would clean it with lukewarm water and i would only feel an occasional sting or 2, and, along with the cracks, i also feel the area where the cracks are very very raw and sensitive to the touch, the rest of the penis is fine. In the healing process, after 1 or 2 days, my skin would feel very dry, accompanied by some peeling skin where the cracks where imageimageimage, that area of the skin, eventually they would heal up, but the skin in that area looks a bit darker than the rest image, the dryness i would fight it with some moisturizer.

In all this months I've tried some approaches to tackle this without success, i used a cleaning solution with neutral PH and no fragrances, anti candida fungal ointment, topical steroid cream, fusidic acid and also elidel, already went to 2 different dermatologists, and the problem still persists, with a down side, that now, it seems to be getting worse as some dots started to appear on the glad imageimageimageimageimage and also on the foreskin area imageimage. Along with all of the this, the redder area of the skin sometimes when is dryer it also looks shinier. I'm posting here in hope of some advice of someone who has gone through the same thing. Before all of this, i had a normal sex life with no problems whatsoever.

Best regards, Thank you,

hi how are you ? ive had the exact same problem ., started 6 years ago lasted for 3/4 years , flared up again recently . one thing in common with both was a very stressful time , first my son was in hospital second my mother ., not sure if there is a connection .

trust me, there is only one way to fix that, circumcision.

    been there too.

it's not that extreme. you just need to be brave enough to do it.

it's better to lose some sensitivity than have to suffer the pain everytime you have intercourse.

JOP1315 sorry to hear about your situation. I’ve been there and it sucks! Here's what i did to get rid of the problem. Been without it for 3-4 months now. I'm NOT saying this will work for you, just that it worked for me. Maybe it'll work for someone else.

I got it back in December 2021. The cuts, dryness (that white and colorless look), irritaion, redness (burning sensation). Masturbation would make it flare up. All this i received after getting oral on a wild night out. I don't recall the month in which i got rid of it, may have been about February/March.

Long story going to try and shorten it. I had gone to visit the doctor who prescribed me medications. The meds did help some with the flare ups. However, the meds made my foreskin shrink and shed, which caused limited flexiblity and pain (due to the part that attaches from the crown of the head to your foreskin being tight and not allowing flexibility). It would tend to clear up some but not completely on its own. It would come back to full capacity due to masturbation. Pulling the skin back was so painful i would just sit down to pee. One night, after being depressed about the situation. I wanted to cut off the part of skin that connects the head to the foreskin. I was so upset about it all i that i really wanted to chop it. After several tries of sitting in the tub wanting to cut it for relief, i just couldn't. So i thought to myself and remembered a few of the comments on this forum had mention that it could be an infection/fungus. Which got me to thinking, what does one put on infections? Well, hydrogen peroxide. So i grabbed the bottle of peroxide and cotton balls. i dabbed it on my penis where the cuts were and dry area. The following morning i had looked to see if any progress was made. I kid you not, in less than 24 hours i went from 8-12 cuts down to 1 small one. My penis did look whiteish though from the amount of peroxide i had applied but, was so happy about the progress. Not sure how long it took to get my color back, but i'd say it was within the same day that i started getting it back. I would shower with dove unscented soap and apply vaseline to regain flexibility. A few days later my skin improved drastically. About 3 days later after my skin was almost healed i dabbed more peroxide, although i didn"t really need it, just to assure to kill of more bacteria. I've been good now since about May and regained my color. I now masturbate with oils or vaseline, just an fyi lol.

    Hello All,

I came across this thread and wanted to concur with one other

guy here and what worked for me. Please read the story as I did most of

this after reading what others did here. It was a simple diagnosis which

makes me think alot of your doctors have a screw loose. I didn't want

to venture into any clinic when Covid was still big time.

The most important thing that may seperate me from others is that

I am circumcised and this was at the base of the shaft that where it

    connects to the body.

In the summer of 2021 I was working 3 day weekends at 8hrs each

day trying to complete a car build. I was athletic in high school and

have good hygiene and never got jock itch. However, some days I

knew I was going to be in the same grease filled area I was before and

would literally throw a used towel on the bed and just pass out. Lets just

say my wife was none to happy.

Because of this and my wife having a yeast infection that she did not

tell me about is why I think I got what I got. I even remember one night

where she was on top(rare) and when she got off after I was done...some

got on my leg. I did a lazy wipe with kleenex and passed out. This VERY area

was also dry cracked on my leg.

So... by Oct. I noticed the patch on my leg didn't go away. At this period of

time I thought it was almost like a bruise or I got a chemical on me while

trying to get the car done.

I think I started to think I had jock itch around December because I had

itching but now in a spot more red and at the base of the penis where it

connects to the body on the top side. Then I started getting the CRACKING

that hurt like paper cuts. I started getting Lotrimin AF and the genrics.

I also only used TEA TREE OIL bar soap. I learned it was good for treating

acne and is a natural anti-bacterial. This regimen worked on the large patch

on leg and another spot and cleared that up just fine.

I continued this treatment, but like many others here, the spot on penis would

just not heal all the way. It would look great right out of the shower with the

tea tree oil soap. I would dap with tissue to make sure perfectly dry. I

sometime swould try to let it "heal" for twelve hours. But alas, nothing

    seemed to work.

This whole time I was very rarely having sex with my wife. Like waiting two

months even. My last try was a solid 3 weeks with Zeasorb AF Jock Itch

powder ( Miconazole nitrate) and that seemed to help some but then that

    stopped working any more.

So what was it?? Well I had ruled this out earlier , but new symptoms

emerged. I had pitting nails and bad dandruff which links to a lack of

Zinc which I knew I had plenty of. So I was worried my body wasn't

absorbing it. I also had fatigue.

Went to the doc thinking it may be Crohns because of other issues

I have had and then mentioned the "jock itch" and it wouldn't go away.

He stated he thoughtit was Psoriasis. He prescribed

Triamcinolone Acetonid cream which is very cheap.

I created this account to help those that have the penis skin cracking

and itching that wont go away. This cream instantly made a difference.

I use it 2-3 times a day and once in a while will use the Zeasorb AF powder

    to just make sure.

Ps- I also want to say this started happening after my Covid shots.

There is nodirect link, but perhaps it is the stress of the body fighting,

or the stress of the pandemic itself mentally that may cause outbreaks.

PPS- have no idea why my font is the way it is.

    Good luck!!

      Hi there:

I have been having this issue for almost two years now, I think.

I posted under the original thread and have tried almost everything have been tried here.

I have gone to 3 urologists.

      1. Told me was friction and needed more lube or use condoms Etc. I on the back of my head thought it was BS but tried anyway. Every time I had intercourse or masturbate I will have the cracks on the skin. I went for a follow up then he prescribed me some fungus cream Lotrimin. I had a little improvement. Nothing else.
      2. I went to the second Urologist and he did examine the area and prescribed me Betamethasone Dipropionate Ointment. You can see it in the pictures. This helped a little but not much. While it was helping also was thinning the skin which was not helpful at all. If you understand what I mean. On my second visit he said that he really had no idea of what was going on and that we will need some more labs. Then he referred me to my third Urologist.
      3. This Urologist was very recognized in the State of Florida USA, So I had very high expectations for this visit. I waited 3 months to get a visit. The visit lasted, not lying, 10 mins including the nurse taking my vitals . He examined me and the first thing came to his mind was I needed surgery (circumcision). But I am already circumsized. He wanted to cut the skin that was cracking . That was his diagnosis and left. He schedule me for surgery but I was very skeptical. So I had a gut feeling and cancelled. I had a routine check with a Primary doctor and I told him my problem. He told me since you have gone already to 3 Urologist go to a dermatologist next because it seems like a problem with the skin. So I did.
      4. My fourth doctor that have examine me for this problem was a Dermatologist. I was a little scare since it was a young female. She inspected the area and took pictures. She asked me all kind of questions. She prescribed me Clobetasol Propionate, see the pics, but it didnt do much. But she called me, because she has never have had a case like mine and she asked to her Boss, a very recognized Dermatologist, and he was intrigued. He wanted to see me on my next appointment and do a biopsy to see what was going on. I did. The results werent cleared but he said there were traces of skin cancer. He told me we needed to do another biopsy to make sure what are we dealing with. Today I got the results. Its skin cancer. He told me a name I cant pronounce but I will get it and post it under this thread. He told me if I had warts before because normally these cases comes from HPV. He asked me if I had a partner and if I have the make sure she was checked to because this was transmited and could be transmitted.

He also mentioned that the skin cancer is in stage 0 (Pre-cancer) and that would not need surgery. A use of a cream that has chemo in it will be prescribed to me. He also said it will not be a pleasant cream because of the chemicals will react with my skin and it will get swollen and some pain.

I just wanted to share this because I was lost and desperate for 2 years. Its not cured yet but now we know what we are dealing with. I will keep you guys posted in the coming months of any progress with this treatment.

I will recommend that people with this condition get a biopsy and get treatment as soon as possible. If its cancer we need to get it before spreads. Dont wait, demand a biopsy to your Urologist or Dermatologist.

      Will keep you guys posted..

      Sincerely,

      Robert

He also said it will not be a pleasant cream because of the chemicals will react with my skin and it will get swollen and some pain but because the condition is on the surface he thinks this was the best option. Now he discussed other options:

    6. fluorouraciL 5 % cream: to put a thin film of this cream around the penis on the affected area. Covering part of the head and part of the shaft. Doing this twice a day for 4 weeks. 2 weeks follow up with the dermatologist or if reactions are seen or felt call anytime.

    7. A penectomy : removing all skin around the penis.

    8. If the cancer have affected the vessel and is more invasive it could cause partial removal of the area.

Ok so Ive had this on and off occasionally for years and have 'cured' it the same way every time.

First of all it is always for me caused by using the wrong type of soap and way too hot water when washing your junk. The hot water is literally frying the very delicate skin on your helmet head & under the foreskin and drying it out, then it tears or flakes off during sex/masturbation and the horror show begins. Think of it as having a sunburnt knob and all the crap you get with normal sunburn happens, only it's happening under the hood of your most prized possession !

If i get it i usually get it seasonally (try and remember when your problem started) as I change the temp of my showers and i forget about it. The best way around it is to get used to washing your body first in the right temp for your body and then turning the temp WAY down to VERY luke warm or even cold to wash the head and under your foreskin. I am uncut but for cut guys I guess you should cover your junk with something while in the hot part of the shower and then wash it properly in warm/cold water. Really hot showers are bad for all of your skin let alone the most delicate skin on your entire body, so calm down the heat anyways especially in winter!

STOP USING CREAMS ETC IF THERE IS NO INFECTION! A CUT IS NOT AN INFECTION!

If you think its thrush or fungal get a couple of the anti fungal pills and take them a week apart, don't put anything on your junk!

If you are going to use anything use 100% organic coconut oil, but i would even avoid that until you've completely healed as that too will stop your penis producing its natural oils.

Your penis has its own tools to heal cuts & dryness. if you keep slathering it in crap it is going to stop producing its own fluids and never heal properly on its own. all these things are doing is stopping the natural healing process. you have a traumatised penis and all you're doing is p*****g it off even more with harsh chemicals. Smegma (the smelly stuff) is not the devil! Just remove the excess amount each day if you get it and your penis as it recovers will adjust to producing the right amount to keep your junk moisturised properly once it has calmed down.

For the love of all things holy leave it alone to heal. If you are uncut wash it in warm/cold water and keep the foreskin pulled back in your underwear or wrap a clean bandage around it so it stays dry and heals in its retracted state or you are just going to keep tearing it open again before it has the chance to heal. I know retracting it in its butchered state is very painful, but it is the only way this thing is going to heal properly. Only clean is once a day or you are just going to ps it off if you keep touching it and slow down the healing process. Once the cracks/cuts have healed TOTALLY, then go through the slow and gentle process each night of slowly stretching it in a flaccid state in the shower until it returns to normal flexibility without tearing which should only take about a week or so. Then move onto getting erections and slowly stretching it further. VERY slowly! Don't wk or have sex until it is totally healed which should be around 2 - 3 weeks unless you have really p****d it off. And after you're healed always ALWAYS use lubricant when you have sex or have a w**k. No exceptions, ever!

I have one brand of soap i use and anything else almost immediately causes the problem to reoccur. It looks like posts get deleted if names are mentioned so pm me if you want the brand and I will pass it onto you. The brand mentioned in this thread a few times I find is absolutely terrible and usually makes the problem even worse so don't use it. Soap should always be used very quickly and gently and washed off fully immediately. Once things have healed you may be best to leave soap out of the equation altogether, though the one i use always stops this crap in its tracks at redness and stops it from occurring in the first place as long as i remember to keep shower temps in check!

Lastly why the hell are you all jumping straight to removing your foreskin as a solution? Thats like chopping your finger off for chipping a nail! Its not going to help the situation anyway and has nothing to do with the original cause of the problem. Its not going to stop just because you remove a bit of skin & the helmet is much harder to protect without its shield!

I'd like to add that I'm circumcised and still have the condition, as do a few others on here. That's enough evidence to suggest that removing the foreskin is too rash of a decision.
