Penis glans skin peeling and itching

i have been dealing with some skin peeling on the penis glans for the last 2 weeks. It appeared in one area and disappears after a few days , now it is in a different area and i m not sure what it is. also a bit of itching in the last few days. i m HSV (herpes) positive since 20 years ago so i m hoping this new issue is not something worst like syphilis for example. can somebody tell me if this looks like syphilis at all?
