Penis injury or inflamed?

Posted , 2 users are following.

I was masterbating double my regular amount last week (4-5 times every day -+ 1 week). I fellt some dull discomfort in my balls, tingling in penis shaft and unable to sit in a chair. I stopped masterbating for 5 days and went to see my doctor yesterday. He said stop masterbating. He thinks I pulled something. I don't have any big problems like urine in blood, discolored penis, etc. However, when I start and finish peeing, my stream starts at an angle and straightens out right away. I also notice a decrease in penis size. I have notice more discomfort when I walk. However, it's still very dull pain. I am more comfortable after 5 days of not masterbating. My plan is to stop masterbating for two weeks first but its very difficult. I keep reminding myself that two weeks up to a few months isn't a big sacrifice if I can fix the problem and learn to break my bad habbit of over-masterbating. Do you think I pulled something?

Thanks

BJ

It would be unusual for masturbating to cause a problem, even when it's that often, and I'm not even sure what your doctor means by "pulled something".  Were you examined by a urologist or a regular GP?

I don't think it's unusual for your urine stream to start at an angle and straighten out btw.

My GP said I got injured because I was over masterbating.

About the urine stream, it wasn't like that before.

I am curious to know why you think this is not caused by exessive masterbating. I don't remmeber having this problem before. I also don't have an urge to pee frequently. I seem to be fine other than the fact there is discomfort for several seconds a few times per day, walking iritates it and most importantly, I have soft errections. Attempting to have a hard errection causes a slight burning-like/tingling under the head of my penis. I know it's not STD because I haven't had sex in a while.

If there aren't any other factors, your symptoms probably are due to masturbating more than normal, but some men (not many) masturbate that much all the time.  I think most young men masturbate (or have sex) once a day or more often.  If things aren't back to normal after a few days, I'd go back to your GP, and maybe ask to see a urologist.  How old are you btw, and which country are you in?

      I'm 51, near Manchester, UK.

A paper in the Journal of Sexual Medicine ("Sexual Behaviors, Relationships, and Perceived Health Among Adult Men in the United States: Results from a National Probability Sample"wink found that 20% of men aged 25-29 masturbate four or more times a week, so it looks like you're well above average.  Only 17% of men aged 25-29 hadn't masturbated in the last year, so masturbation is fairly common, and remember that most men aged 25-29 have girlfriends or wives, so the figures for single men will be higher.

I'm still struggling to understand what the doctor meant by saying you must have "pulled something" though.  That's an unfortunate choice of words, but I'm not sure you can actually injure yourself by masturbating unless you're very rough about how you do it.

If the symptoms haven't gone in the next few days, I'd want to see a urologist if I were you.  If they have gone, then I'd go back to however often you were masturbating before, and reduce it if the symptoms come back.

I haven't masterbated in almost 7 days. I also can't get a full errection either and that bothers me a lot. I have a doctor appointment next week. Let's see what happends. I hope it's an infection that I can treat with antiobiotics. I also noticed dry skin after my shower. Maybe I was rubbing it too hard and cut myself in a number places. I don't know

      Thanks for your help

      Hi ml66uk

I noticed something about my erections. My sitting down and morning erections are soft and I can't get a full erection. My erection is so soft that as soon as I attempt to get a harder errection, my penis falls back or front to the right side. What a scary feeling.

I want to try the nofap challange and not masterbate for 90 days.

Anyway, just wanted to share that with someone, anyone.

      Thanks!

That really doesn't sound good, so I hope the urologist knows what's going on.

I just google this "nofap challenge" thing, and I can't say I'm a fan.  Masturbation is normal, and Nofap looks like pseudoscience to me.
