Penis irritation

I have been struggling with an irritation on my penis glans since August - October 2019.
In August it started with a possible case of HSV-2. The doctor told me to use acyclovir cream and sudocream to use it on the sore area. This was under the forskin. I waited this period out and kept using the cream for roughly 7 days. The area cleared up. During the end on the 7 days I washed the sudocream of with body soap a couple of times. After this my penis started to get irritated, red rashes and slightly burning sentation. After this point I did not wash my genitals with soap anymore.
I thought I caught myself an yeast infection or something, because of the red rashes. So over a longer period of time I tried different creams and oils. From Canastene, Daktarin, coconut oil mixed with oregano oil to dilut it down, apple vinegar. None if it worked. At this point I still had the rashes and my penis glans got dry and flaky. This was in November
At this point I stopped using anything for a week. The penis glans wasn't as dry anymore. But the penis got a little more red. And it sometimes felt a little itchy or burning but not that must that it was bothering me. Some days pass and it starts getting dry again. I decide to go to the GP. He sees nothing strange but precribes me hydrocortisone cream. I used it for 3 days twice a day but I stopped using it because my glans got even more red and irritated. I decide to leave it alone and sometimes just use coconut oil or and different moisturizer on it. This didn't help.
Around december I went to visite my girlfriend in St Petersburg Russia. My penis was still irritated, and had a burning sentation. Even tho being sexual active there, the problems seem to fade away. Only then in the first week of January I started to get bumps on my forskin and glans. Also my girlfriend started to get problems. We both visited the doctor, I went to the urology. Did an STD, yeast swab and herpes swab. Both my girlfriend and me were positive for yeast.
The urologist perscribed me Primafucin for 14 days twice a day. I started using this on the 13th of January. The first few days my penis was really irritated by it, very red of colour and burning. On 19th I switched to Canasten because the skin of my penis glans was peeling off and was back in my home country. This I used till the 26st. Everything seemed fine, but few days later I started getting the same irritation again as in November.
Last week I went to the GP again. He said he doesn't see anything wrong with it and said I should use the Hydrocortisone cream again. Did this and again 3 days later my penis glans got more red than before so I stopped.
Now my penis glans is still reddish and feels slightly irritated. The redness comes and goes, but it still doesn't look healthy for me. I only wash it with water and dry it off very good.
I am getting kinda desperate now... The photo's is how it looks now.

You replied to my thread and maybe you saw that I was having pain/irritation from using too much cream? From what I gather, the glans skin is very thin, so maybe using too many different creams so much can cause more irritation. I found that was happening to me when I went to my GP and he told me to stop using canesten and start with Sudocrem. I began getting more irritation after the switch and found the irritation lessened after I stopped using anything. I think the main problem is that fungal stuff is so hard to get rid of. In my case, the cause of the infection was due to chemical irritants. Can you remember what might have been the cause of your original onset of irritation? That might help you start to figure out how to sort it. 😊

Ah, I missed that you said a possible HSV scare. Perhaps you picked up a candida infection from whoever you slept with?

From what I can remember it started when I washed it with soap. From that point I started having small irritations.

I have a steady relationship and I don't see her often. So during most of the period I wasn't sexually active.
Only after I visited her, I caught the candida infection, and used cream for 13 days. But the irritation returned few days when I stopped using it.

Ah right! I had to use Canesten 2%, three times a day for around a month and very slowly saw improvement. Apparently a month is a long time to use Canesten. It did make it look quite red when I first started using it though, but if you're saying it makes it worse, then I suppose you wont want to carry on using. I didn't see any visual improvement for around 2 weeks. I would have thought cutting out all of the soaps and stuff when washing it would help if you think it was caused by that.

When I used Canasten-clotrimazol it felt better but only for 7 day period. Only the Primafucin was quiet heavy.

The penis glans is also sticky now, but when I expose the penis glans it dries up quiet fast. The irritation is still there, but minor.
Anyone that has any idea how to get it like normal again?
