Penis Irritation + Sort of Ridge? Could it be herpes?

I had unprotected sex with someone on November 13th. She told me the next day that she had herpes, but that she hasn't had an outbreak since her first time and has had two long-term partners since she contracted it and neither had ever tested positive for herpes. I should say that she was menstruating during the encounter and I was not able to wash myself for a little while after that.
I usually masturbate once or twice a day, but following this contact I began masturbating five to seven times a day. I was fairly raw at some point and and went from no lube to Trojan lube to coconut oil. nothing seemed to help.
But a few days later, I started feeling minor itching with some discomfort around the head of the penis. After reading up, I waited until the 12th day from the encounter and went to my doctor to be tested for herpes. My symptoms seemed more like a yeast infection. The doctor took blood and urine, but since I didn't have any discharge, decided not to treat until we got the tests back. I started experiencing discharge that night. The next day and for several days, in case it was a fungal infection or anything, I started applying isoprophyl alcohol and coconut oil to my penis twice a day. At that time, I started seeing a kind of ridge form in my skin; the same shape as on the other side, but more pronounced. When in a resting position, it looks vaguely like a bump, but long. The bump thing itself doesn't have defined edges or anything. It's sensitive and will get a little bigger or hurt a little when I wake up if I'm sweating, or if I masturbate. I can also say that I have a callus on my finger that appears to hit that area when I masturbate. Photo 2 is the "bump." Photos 3 and 4 are a comparison of the skin area on both sides.
I went back to my doctor. The test results were negative for everything on the STI panel. I can't confirm whether they checked for candida/etc. But they prescribed antibiotics, said it was a general urethral infection. The discharge went away after a few days, no effect on my skin. I went back and they gave me clotramazole. I've been using that twice a day for a few weeks now. There has been a good deal of improvement. But still experiencing symptoms.
I went back to the doctor to refill my clotramazole, he took another look and I pointed out my sort-of-bump. He took more urine. Prescribed acyclovir. Gave me a three-day course and said to "hang on" to the rest. I'm pretty sure he's thinking it's herpes. I'm going back next week to be re-tested for everything, but I am feeling extremely worried about the whole thing. My reasons for thinking it's not herpes are that it's been almost two months and I'm never had any blisters, rashes, ulcers, etc. I've had shingles twice, so know I'm susceptible to that kind of thing and probably would have seen something by now. My symptoms have been all over the head of my penis, not just that one almost bump, though that is the most irritated.
Any advice? Any hope? I'm desperate not to have herpes. And as of last night I'm feeling like I might have urethra involvement again.

I can also add that heat makes the bump feel worse and that cold/icing makes the bump recede and feel fine. It comes back.

Even more: until a couple of days ago, I spent a week or so using hydrocortisone and diclofenac in the area. They alleviated symptoms for a few hours at a time. I only used them once or twice a day. I have also been using aloe gel two or three times a day for the last week and a half, continuing.

I would suggest you continue to work with the doctor to resolve what you have going on.
You would help your penis a great deal if you took a masturbation holiday for as long as you can.
Issues with penile skin at the top end of the penis take months to resolve themselves anyway, by masturbating you are simply making the recovery process a more longer-term thing.
If you consider a two-step process of healing and becoming as healthy as possible again you are simply stopping this process from occurring at all with frequent masturbation.
