Penis Rash after Treatment Cream

Posted , 2 users are following.

Hello,

I have phimosis and a tight forskin. So I finally went in to get treatment for it. Anyways I got this cream Ratio-Triacomb to put on every night before bed to loosen up blah blah blah. Anyways I've done it for like 3 days and then one morning in the shower I tried to clean out the cream etc and this white like burn thing was on there and a bunch of random red spots. Is this like a rash? A bad reaction to the cream? What the hell is this lol I stopped using the cream and dry out my penis head and have just sort of left my dick alone for a day. It seems to be getting smaller. Some of the red dots disappear. But like what the hell is this. I'm having sex with my same partner for months now and I was just checked for HIV/ Genital warts / Syphilis etc like a month ago and I was cleared

Is it just really dry skin. Should i still be applying the cream still at night? Should I Apply lotion and not leave it dry? did i apply too much cream?

Lol somebody help please

Were you prescribed this cream because of the phimosis / tight foreskin?  Also, the photo shows you are able to reveal quite a large part of the head / glans anyway ....

Yes, so I would guess the cream was not meant to have that reaction.  I think you need to point out to the medic what has happened when you used it.  Was this a specialist who gave you this, or a normal Doc / GP?  If you were prescribed the cream, as you suggest " to loosen up " I would have thought you would have been given some form of steroidal ointment for that?!

My suggestion would be to stop using what you have been given, seek alternative advice.  If you are in the UK I would suggest you visit a Sexual Health Clinic, or a GUM Clinic, or a Sexual health specialist wherever you are.  And no, I am not suggesting you have an STI / STD - just these specialist clinics have staff who have seen ALL conditions of the genitalia ...

      Hello thanks for your reply.

Yes I was prescribed this by a doctor. It is a steroid cream. I can pull it back completely when it is not hard. Its tight when its erect. but ya Anyways. Heres an Update:

I'm going to a Sexual Health Clinic tomorrow because it has not improved. Its like my dick is literally melting off. Woke up its super dry. I've stopped using the cream since Sunday. I just wash it with water in the morning and at night and I blow dry it to make sure its extra dry incase its like a bacterial infection. I put aloe lotion on it like 5 minutes ago because it looked like it was gonna crack everywhere. It looks like my entire dick is peeling off. Its pretty swollen too. I think its itchyish but that just be my imagination cause its my penis and thats all I'm thinking about. Right now its Just red. Flaking white s**t and uncomfortable.

      Updated with pics as well.

I certainly hope you get this sorted at the sexual health clinic.  Make sure you clarify at the clinic where you can get follow-up help from, whether you simply can go back to the clinic as and when you need, or whether there is something else you need to do to get further help.

I would also mention the tight foreskin issues you have when your penis is erect.  Often, simple stretches are all that it is needed - but, perhaps, your phimosis was previously worse than it is now and you have managed to get to where you are now, in terms of retraction, using stretches. Do no harm to get another perspective on this at the clinic.  Good Luck - W.D.

      Update: Went to the Clinic.

Got swabbed for different bacterial infections as well as herpes. The swabs were pretty painful lol I might add. I'm giving full details just incase some stranger on the internet is having the same symptoms so they know what they're getting into.

There is clearly a bacterial infection and its either caused by a very random out of the blue outbreak of herpes or by the medication as blisters etc are a possible side effect of it.

I was given 7 days of antibiotics and my swabs were sent in for testing.

I suppose the natural question to have asked was whether the Ratio-Triacomb was the correct cream for you in  the first place.  Never mind, I suppose all you need now is a D**k that is no longer painful and to get rid of whatever it was that caused it in the first place!

If you want to come back here after all this has cleared up I can give you some information on stretching the foreskin - simply update this discussion or start a new topic forum specific to foreskin stretching.  Good Luck - W.D.

Hello. We are all cleared up haha. Seeing as I can't use that cream anymore. I won't dare put it on my dick again haha. I'd love some information on stretching the foreskin etc.

Good to hear the good news!  Compared to most men, you can actually stretch yours quite considerable.  I had Phimosis, and at first, I could only stretch my to reveal between 1 and 1.5 Cm's.  I managed to stretch mine to reveal the entire glans when fully erect.  You must learn not to put too much pressure on to start with.  One simple excercise I do everyday (I have a skin condition that means I have to do this anyway) is to draw my foreskin as far forward from the body as it will go (no pain when you try, mind!).  Develop a knack and a routine of doing stretches, light exercises Day1, more minutes Day 2, most minutes doing different exercises Day 3.  Day 4 rest, or Day 1 exercises only.  Repeat as you think seems to work best for you.  The best time to do stretches is after a warm or hot shower, or, simply combine the two at the same time.

As you cannot usually post external links on here, you will need to look up the following: -

      > wiki How - 3 ways to do phimosis stretching   And / or

      > Guide to treating phimosis - A Phimosis Journey

As I say, you do not have a severe tightness issue, compared to most.  From the sites try different exercises and pick 2 or 3 that feel right for you.  Do not use excessive pressure, but once you have developed a good routine, say after 6 to 8 weeks of having no injuries or problems, you can start to (carefully) draw the skin of the shaft - when you are fully erect - of the penis towards the body, and relax it.  Again, you will need to develop the know-how of just how much pressure to use!  Then, when you are happy with your overall progress, start to add slightly more pressure when you draw the skin towards the body.  Carefully is the watchword, safely does it, and you will make steady progress - this could take anywhere between 3 and many months to make real progress, as each persons foreskin is individual.  Good Luck - W.D.
