Penis spots / redness / weird texture since sexual encounter (months ago)

Posted , 6 users are following.

Redness / spots basically go after a single day, but I am still left with weird marks on the tip.

I believe this may be related to a sexual encounter I had with a girl at a festival (no condom) back in august as I’ve never had problems before. Due to the lack of hygiene at festivals, i think it may be fungal / bacterial. I’ve tried two anti-fungal creams and they don’t seem to work. If you could recommend me something I would really appreciate that.

unless you have issues, i wouldn't worry about it. it doesn't look like balanitis, there is not a lot of inflammation. since you are circumsized the chance that it's fungal is very low.

try something like wheat germ oil for healing the skin.

Have you been tested for all STDs?

Have had for over a year. Tested for everything under the sun. Seen multiple dermatologists, urologists, no one has any idea

Have yourself tested for herpes. Same issues here. All stds negative except for hsv blood test. All started after protected sex. No blisters ever just irritated urethra for 8 months now and weird texture on penis glans. Pain in perineum in month 4 and post urination dribble.

Same here. Did you have any genital rubbing though? My irritated urethra was solved by minocycline after testing positive for Ureaplasma species. Most urologists disregard it as it lives in healthy genital tracts, but you can still get a ureaplasma infection if the bacteria overgrows. Hopefully this well help you solve the urethral irration issue. However, have been unable to solve the red glans / bumpy texture.

    Good luck
