Perenial abscess

Hi Good Day. I am Worried about may Perenial Abscess. I had it checked last May 2, 2021 by a GP. He confirmed it as an abscess but he did not drain it. he just prescribed some antibiotics and cream because it was small. When I go home I checked it and saw that it popped already. My mother had it clean and bandage just like the doctor said. Its been 3 weeks it doesn't heal yet but I'm sure its getting smaller but it continues to drain some pus. Should I be worried for a Fistula to develop? Please help me.

Ps. I can walk, and sit properly and the pain is just a little bit.
