Peri-menopause bad stomachs ??

Hi there

Please help me as I'm worried. Can peri cause bad stomachs where it is smelly and softer than usual? Sorry to be too descriptive! Thank you!

    oh yes! ive had this on & off for about 2 years now rushing on waking extremely smelly & soft. im sat her now & its feels like my abdomen is on fire

      Thank you for your reply. Have you asked the docs or had any tests done? I did a stool sample the other day and so worried the results are going to come back as something serious? 😦

      Yes i had a stool test when this all started & it was fine. pretty sure a lot of my issues are anxiety related & i always get looser stools around the same time my period is due x
