Peri menopause.......😂😂 burping 😂😂constipation😂😂

Hello - it has been a terrible week - was so excited when my period finally ended after almost four weeks but now I am so feeling not well from constipation, bloated tummy and non stop burping.

I took something by renew life called cleanse more and it certainly did cleanse - I believe I have torn something inside of myself as I keep wiping pink - am so afraid.  Has anyone had this happen to them as well?  Any suggestions on how to get compacted stool out without taking any type of stool softener or laxative?  I had surgery last year and have never been the same since - I am 49 years old.

Also, has anyone experienced excessive burping?  I just can not stop and it is so embarrassing - was in a meeting today and actually had to get up and leave the room for a bit.  Does anyone know of any supplements or natural remedies that might help?  This burping is so terrible, it even happens when I drink 💦 water.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - I am just so burnt out from all of this and also all of the body aches; will it ever end?

Have a great evening!!

Hello. I'm sorry you're feeling so poorly. Ive not had issues with constipation, mine always goes more the other way! But I have had the burping problem. About 2 years ago I started getting a weird pain in the centre of my chest and then the almost constant burping. I was tested for helicobacter pylori which can be present if you have a ulcer and that can cause this. My test was negative but I was given omeprazole for acid reflux. It sorted it out for me really quickly. I took them for 2 months and haven't needed them since. You say you were "wiping pink"? I'm assuming you mean from your bottom? If your stools are impacted you may have an analysis fissure but always best to get this checked out. Hope you feel better soon x

You may be gulping air due to the menopause anxiety.  I get this from time to time.  I drink sparkling water to actually “induce” the burping to get it out.  You may want to try this before you go into your meetings to get the burping out and done. Re the pink.  That’s minor and is probably due to hemaroids or anal fissure.  Always see a dr when there’s bleeding from the rectum.  You may want to have a colonoscopy as well as an endoscopy for the burping.  This will ease your worry.  Use moistened wipes for the times you have a bowel movement and perhaps a cooling gel made for this area.  Also, drink plenty of water to help you not be constipated.  Hope this helps!

Hi Bertie ..I have the same issue with constipation and burping...its all has to the with the hormones, very sensitive to certain foods and i think just the fluctuation. Never had go these issues before until peri. I usually take a magnesium supplement to help with my constipation and other peri symptoms as well. Many people are very deficient in magnesium.

If you start to journal you will notice the constipation and burping usually around the same time of the month.

    Good day to you Meandbell,

Yes when I wipe I sometimes see the pink as well. I think it's just that we are spotting real light.

As far as the burps, He-He as you stated even when you drink water the burping states. I don't know of any remedies. But the burping does help with the bloating.
