When you say through the roof

What does that mean? Like give an example..I'm just curious as to how people experience it.

Hi Clare, you just have to keep telling yourself it’s peri. If it were something serious it wouldn’t just come and go, right? I still get health anxiety pangs but try hard not to google things now. And I just keep reminding myself that all these horrible symptoms aren’t going to kill me. Even though I thought they would at times. But it’s been two years and I’m still kicking ❤️

Clare1971- I can totally 100%  relate to the health anxiety. It’s awful every now and then… When it first started it was nearly debilitating, I was googling everything. But now it’s been about a year and a half and I’m finally settling down a little. But just for example today my ovary has been twinging a little bit so to speak… And I’m exhausted… But I’m so glad for everyone on here to compare to and share stories with. It makes me feel better to know I’m not alone and probably not dying. Hang in there and reach out whenever needed!!

Oh that’s so interesting. I had exactly that symptom for about a year and a half. Kept asking my doctor about it and ran all kinds of tests... then suddenly it disappeared never to come back. It was probably about a year or so into peri when it started. My health anxiety was at an all time high then. Bioidentical HRT helped me as well as lots of magnesium and cbd to get other the health anxiety. I also listen to positive affirmations, meditation and hypnosis on YouTube to stay positive and centered even though I sometimes experience some anxiety doing it. Must be the letting go bit that gives me a couple of big waves but then it’s through and I start to feel better. Also reading the children’s book “Going On A Bear-hunt” (to my kids) helped me, realising that the only way is THROUGH (you can’t go over it, under it or next to it... the only way is through...).

Hi Clare.  I have that pain too every few months.  I have a sludgy  gallbladder with some small stones.  Same type pain under right side ribs and back.  Sometimes I will have a little nausea and get warm like I have a low grade fever and then it passes in a few days.  And the health anxiety that goes along with all of this is the worst thing that has come out of all of this.  Amy’s post is exactly how I feel too.  So, ditto what she said.
