Perimenopause, which is the transitional phase before menopause, can bring about hormonal changes that may affect your mood and overall well-being. Anxiety is a common symptom reported by many women during this time. It's important to consult with a healthcare professional who can evaluate your specific situation and provide appropriate advice and treatment options.

Regarding the music ringing in your mind, this experience is known as musical hallucinations, and it can occur in various situations, including during periods of stress or anxiety. However, it's always best to consult with a medical professional to determine the cause and appropriate treatment options.

Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is a treatment option that some women find helpful during perimenopause and menopause. HRT can help alleviate certain symptoms by supplementing the declining levels of hormones in the body. However, it's important to note that HRT carries potential risks and side effects, so it's crucial to discuss the benefits and risks with your doctor to determine if it's appropriate for you.

    Hello, r1234....

I am going to tell you the BRUTAL TRUTH about menopause! It is a DEBILITATING time in our lives which wreaks SEVERE, UNHINGED, havoc on our minds, bodies, and souls! Here's my condensed story: I have experienced HORRIFIC ANXIETY since the inception of perimenopause. My peri journey began at 42 and as we speak, I am DEEP in the throes of post-menopause, which is thee last stage of this hormonal hell, I am in! Countless health professional have stated that once our period ends, our symptoms get better and eventually subside. DUH! That line they give many of us menopausal women is totally fabricated to the tenth power! Hence, when my period ceased, my symptoms got WORSE! My friends said the exact same thing, their symptoms got worse, when they embarked on their post-menopausal journey! Suffice it to say, I have been taking the ALL-NATUREL route to optimal health, and some days, I feel like I should call 911 and tell them to take me to the asylum and throw away the keys til this sugar, honey, ice tea is OVAAA!!! I will say this: There will be periods (No Pun Intended) where you will get a break from this TSUNAMI, then, lo and behold, the new symptoms are right around the corner waiting to DEVOUR you! This scenario has happened to me... soooo... many times throughout my menopausal trios, that is why I am able to verbalize it! Also, some of the hellish same symptoms return with a VENGEANCE! You can NOT pinpoint when you will get a reprieve, simply because this TSUNAMI has a mind of its own!! Yes, a TSUNAMI!! That's my name for ANY stage of menopause!! Please drink plenty of water, exercise, eat well, take your vitamins and LIVE!! I did ALL of those aforementioned STELLAR things, yet menopause FORCED its way through ALL of those great entities! On that note, be well, my menopausal sistah.
