Perimenopause and phantom UTI

Has anyone else in perimenopause or menopause experienced UTI-like symptoms such as lower abdomen and side pain but urine testing shows no infection? I thought I'd had every peri symptom under the sun over the past 6 years but this is new. The gift that keeps giving...

    Hi Becky, I had this almost a year ago now. All the classic symptoms but my results were clear. I was told if the pain/symptoms persisted over the weekend, to go back on the Monday. Told to drink lots of water. Still had symptoms on the Saturday but overnight they completely went? Infact, it was the most normal I'd felt in ages but sadly the feeling only lasted 3 days then other peri symptoms returned. 🙄 I bought a large tin of test sticks (not sure how reliable they are) but haven't had it since. xx

    Yes Becky! I had scans etc showed nothing. My urine smells too! God knows what's going on. Not sure if it's the vit I take
