Perimenopause and testing vaginal ph levels?

Posted , 2 users are following.

Hi all,

I'm 46 but still get my periods, safe to assume that due to my age i'm still peri.

I've been having symptoms for about 5-6 months now: burning when peeing and in between, and a slight white discharge. No smell at all. I tried at home yeast kits several months ago, I don't think they did a thing, but can't be 100% as the symptoms do come and go the whole time. I tried boric acid pills, took at least 24. Tested with at home ph kit, get 5.0 ( about).

Is this bv, perimenopause or what? How do you test ph at home during perimeno?

Thanks!
