Perimenopause confusion

I believe I am in perimenopause but was on the pill. I had a light period last month but this month (no longer on the pill) nothing. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative just to cover that base. My libido is through the roof (i feel like i am 17 again) and no vaginal dryness but the opposite. Also no hot flashes. I have picked up about 8lbs and feel bloated. I am pretty miserable with the gain. Is all this typical of entering perimenopause?

    Very possible, the signs are there. Its important to obtain more information on the issue with your doctor. Sex rive through the roof makes me unsure exactly the issue. Menopause tends to be the opposite low sex drive.
