Perimenopause in late 30s, anxiety, palpitations, loss of appetite and ringing ears

I'm in late 30s, out of blue my perimenopause symptoms started, anxiety , palpitations, constant ringing in ears and loss of appetite. I've lost 15 pounds in last 4 months (which is a plus) but I feel fatigued and weak since I don't really have an appetite. My anxiety is through the roof, ears started ringing as well. My question can perimenopause cause all these symptoms, does it ever end? My first pregnancy was horrible, I had lot of hormone related issues, but they said it will pass, and eventually it did after few months . Ladies who have gone through this, can you please share your experience, remedies, medications, how long it lasted? No one in my family had gone through this so they can't help me. Also is late 30s too early for perimenopause?

Hello dramisha,  Boy does this sound familiar.  I started horrible symptoms out if the blue, last July at 40.  I had just stopped long term birth control use, then everything went downhill.  Fatigue, weakness, loss appetite, I too lost 15 lbs, I am small so this was shocking.  Heart palps, migraines, dizzyness, numbness, tingles, sweats, cold, the list goes on and on.  Ran myself ragged to specialists, ER visits, MRIs, blood tests, everything checked in and out.  Terrible health anxiety.  Nothing came up, I am healthy...just don’t feel it!

Fast forward to now, I will be 41...still feel lousy, mostly fatigue and dizziness bother me the most.  I tried going back on pill, didn’t agree with me. Asked about HRT, but my gyno thinks I’m too young 🙄 I finally agreed to go on a low dose AD, too soon to tell if it’s really helping me or not.

Get all your tests done for piece of mind.  If you are healthy...then welcome to perimenopause.  No, you’re not too young!  I believe mine started a couple of years ago...but i was on birth control, so it probably masked some of the symptoms.  Take care...this forum is wonderful!  😊

Yup! 37 here and having a great time with all the lovely symptoms. I went to 10 different doctors before we figured out it was hormone junk. And yes to the ear ringing...and about 60 other symptoms. You are not alone my friend. This support group has been an encouragement. The physical symptoms are one monster but when the anxiety and depression kick in then it's an entirely different game. Keep busy the best you can. Set small goals and aim to accomplish. When you hit despair them reach out to this group. We know what you are going through cause we battle it daily too ?

Thanks Lisa, I also got some tests and ultrasound done. All normal, so nothing else to blame but perimenopause. My doctor gave me fluoxetine, but I am still debating if I should start or not.
