Perineum papercut/fissure: herpes or yeast infection?

This cut/fissure appeared 3 weeks after I last had sex with a HSV-2 positive partner (he was on antiviral therapy, so he says, but then he had an outbreak a few days after we had sex). Gynecologist said looked like herpes, but I had a DNA PCR swab done of that cut/fissure and the results came back negative. I had the DNA PCR swab done again one week later in the same spot (after it healed). That also came back negative. I had a IgG blood test done (3 weeks from exposure) and that came back negative. So, tests are telling me negative, but why would I get a cut/fissure like that? Anyone else have something like this that turned out to be yeast infection? The first gynecologist did not suspect that, so I was not tested for yeast. I know that even if this particular fissure is not herpes that it is still possible I was infected with HSV and will not know for sure until I repeat the IgG blood test in a few months.

Ok thanks for responding; I have not had sex since March 15 out of fear I have herpes. I had two in-person gynecology visits and one telemedicine and all 3 gynecologists said looks like herpes, but tests negative. This uncertainty is driving me crazy.

wait long has that cut been there tho.... you should try the online doctors online theyll go more into detail and tell you they also happen from yeast infections
