Yes my anxiety increases when I'm on my period and lasts into the 2nd week of my cycle.

    I think there's def a hormone link.

lasts for two weeks? thats aweful. for sure a hormonal link. do you take zoloft daily. has it gotten worse on zoloft? any other remedies during this time .

I'm on 50mg sertraline debating whether I need to increase slowly to 75mg. Anxiety has always seemed to be worst around my period. It's definitely better than it was but around my period its the same.

I've also got a prescription for the pill to see if that'll make a difference with hormones. Have tried Agnus Castus for a year which helped for awhile but hasn't since I had an anxiety low at Christmas.

It's a pain in the bum!

can you tell me how you are different. I'm fine perfect really then two days after my period I'm very low ..crying anxious. tired. a hot mess. like what symptoms and when they start and stop

Mine seems to upset my tummy which then in turns makes me feel anxious (like you need the toilet).

I suffer from health anxiety so if I get an ache or pain during 'period' time I get more hung up on it and anxious (jittery).

Feel tired and more teary aswell as if it drags you down.

I did read an article that says when you come on your period your serotonin levels are at the lowest and then start go up again after so I think I can relate to this!
