Period and thrush

hello, i realised that i had thrush some days ago so i decided to buy canesten soft gel pessary. i inserted it in the evening before bed and the next day my itchiness was completely gone, but i still had some kind of cottage like discharge. after 2 days my period came and the period flow comes out with small bits in it , also the period flow was normal this morning but after that it just kinda stopped coming out , if i put a finger in i can get period blood full of these bits like the discharge that i have during a thrush. what could this be? i'm really concerned but i haven't had sex in a long time , also i just recently did a check up at the doctors and i only had a thrush at the time , nothing else. please help i'm kinda freaking out because this has never happened before and i don't know what it is.

those tabs can be messy -- takes a few days tl get rid of the residue.

it could be a severe yeast infection, BV or something elseAlways best to get a swab from your doctor to ensure you treat the right condition

i already got a swab and my doctor said it was only thrush. i got tested for everything and everything was clear. this was recently. those bits that come out dissolve so i guess it could be blood clots caused by the pill because it's my first time using it.

i don't think it's anything else apart from thrush because as soon as i used the pill and cream i stopped itching completely. if it was BV , the canesten wouldn't have eliminated the thrush-like symptoms. right?
