Hello, I'm also on these and the same thing happened to me. The doctor at the hospital told me this is normal and can happen monthly. I was worried myself as not had a period for 8 months. But it's normal

Hello - I'm not sure about this particular brand of HRT, but I've literally just gone onto Elleste Duet 2mg. My doctor advised that I was to take it on the first day of my next period as it may cause irratic bleeding. Although I took it immediately I haven't experienced this yet. I'm guessing if it's new to you you might experience some bleeding hence the pains, but perhaps it's your body getting used to the drug. If it's a no bleed HRT it may be worth giving your GP a quick call to put your mind at rest. However if it is one that gives you a period it looks like you might be due one shortly. I'm new to all this as well, but have been doing a bit of homework Hope all works out for you... good luck x
