Period problems since birth of daughter

I had my daughter in August of 2019. I didnt have a cycle again until about 2.5 years after delivery. I breastfed for the first 6 months only. When i did get that cycle after 2.5 years it was more or less spotting. After that cycle i would get spotting every 28 days. I am currently on birth control pill. The last two months I have not even spotted. I have taken pregnancy tests and they are negative. I still get the pms stmptoms but no bleeding.

My doctor has checked for fibroids and cysts and ruled them out.

If anyone can help or has gone through something similar please help!!!!
