Periods causing outbreak

Is it common to have outbreaks monthly? This is only month 2 for me but i e only gotten about a week of relief. Now that I’m on my cycle again the burning has begun AGAIN, I’m on suppressive therapy. Additionally i take vitamins, olive leaf, probiotics etc. I’m so tired of the pain and it’s only just begun.

    It is variable

    Depends on each person.

Monthly period is causing general stress to your body so the virus flares.

Try to boost your immunity more and more and check your suppressive dose.

That's the way it happened for my girlfriend. She would get an outbreak each month for the first year or so. They have become milder and less frequent now though.

The suppressive therapy should help reduce the extent and duration of the outbreaks even if it doesn't prevent them entirely, so stick with it.

I was getting mine every 2 weeks.  I’m now on suppressive therapy and so far I’m at one week no outbreaks.  Hopefully I can make it past 2.

Omg! Are you taking Valtrex? Is it once a day suppressive therapy? Are you doing anything else? Does your period trigger it too? Or is it just random.
