periods lasting too long

Hello

Ive always had regular periods. They began lasting for 5_6 days. After an year after I started my periods I think when I was 15 I would bleed once on the 9th day or a random day before the 10th day. So basically a regular period with one extra day of bleeding ( maybe would bleed on 7th or 8th day). But now after my kids were born things changed. Now it continues for 9 days straight . I feel exhausted I mean sooo many days ?? Im also getting my periods eve wry 25 days instead of 28_30 days. Any ideas on what maybe wrong ? I did go To the gynecologist before the corona virus started she said she would do an ultra sound but I don't want to go after the corona virus started. Periods are also very heavy. I have switched to overnight pads for daytime but even those are not enough anymore im running to the restroom every 3 hours. I thought it might be because of. breastfeeding but my son is 3 now. Stopped breastfeeding last year. Help.

    Hi

Could be a few things. I suspect that you may be anaemic or iron deficient as it is common in women. Have you had your iron and FBC levels checked?

newbie20- its probably not from breast feeding bc its been a year maybe a blood test to rule out anemia since youre bleeding so heavily and an uktrasound to rule out fibroids
