Perirectal abscess

i have never wrote on one of these but i have searched and searched for answers. i am 30 no health issues and had a perirectal abscess on my vacation from an abrasion. mine was so bad that i went to an Er there and he took mw to surgery with 101 fever and the swelling and redness and hardness was complety on right butt cheek. there wasnt a head on the abscess which took people forever to figure out was wrong because i even went to an urgent care on my vacation as embarassing as it was. long story short had surgery that night he packed it and i went back2 next day to get it removed and left open to heal since i was traveling. everything heals up fine but months later im having this hard lump that goes back and forth between painful. i go see a rectal surgeon here in my state for a post op check no drainage no fistuala . he gives me more antibiotics just in case since its painful. no redness. like cant see anythjng but you can feel the lump. i go back 2 more times he says he thinks its the scar tissue and i could do surgery if k wanted to help remove . almost year later this hard lump still there and i work out regularly and as soon as i lift heavy, the lump hurts like it feels like a ball in my ass. but if you look there isnt anything there . this pain usually subsides and hardness isnt as close to surface. has anyone had this scar tissue like this?
