Peristant abdominal pain.

I have already posted about this some weeks ago, however the pain is still there.

I have griping pain in left abdomen that can be described as radiating from my belly button and spreading to the side. another pain just under my rib cage that feel i am being bitten. Both pain although constant seem to be really irritated by movement.

other symptoms:

heart burn

bloating

nausea

yellow stool

chest pain

back ache

really bad flank pain

Previously i had stomach aches and would go to the toilet and nothing came out. My doctor gave me Mebeverine and that has helped a lot, the colour of my stool changed to brown and the stomach ache and diarrhea stopped but the yellow stool is back and i am still on medication!

I am really worried about cancer, especially pancreatic cancer because i believe that where the pain is radiating from the pancreas.

I have had three ultrasounds in the past year that all came back clear, i have been dealing with this issue for 5 months now and been on medication for omeprazole for during that time. i still take 40 mg a day because 20 mg does nothing!

I have had various test for infection and everything came back clear, i was almost referred to a specialist because my calprotectin test came back at 113 but following another one two weeks later at 91 the gp decided not to refer me.

my weight fluctuates between 78 and 80 kg Although its difficult to eat while having a heartburn and nausea i haven't lost my appetite.

it gets worse at night when i go to sleep, i am female and 19

Sounds like the symptoms I had during my ordeal with my gallbladder. Yellow is the actual bile coming out of your system. You said you had ultrasounds. Of what part? For now stay away from bad food. This could be causing you pain. You should be drinking a lot of water to flush out impurities. Also buy liquids to help you get electrolytes back up to normal. It will help you better.

Hello, the ultrasound was of abdomen. I also forgot to mention i have a bad aftertaste like bitter and acidic and no matter what i take it just stays. also about the bile, is this a symptom of pancreatic cancer, with the pancreas not working well surely that would lead to yellow stool.

If they did the ultrasound of the stomach they will not scan your gallbladder. That is a separate test. Sounds like stones. I had a bad after taste too. It was from gall disease. It was bile and acid from my gall. Ask for a scan of your gallbladder. With contrast

That is the only test to see stones and sludge.

Ask about IBS since Mebeverine helped you. Yellow stools can occur with IBS If they are moving through you to fast and you are not absorbing food properly. Bowel habit change is a feature of the condition too. Radiating abdominal pain, nausea and heartburn are also IBS symptoms. My abdominal pain woke me at night and was sore to lie on. The pain shifted about a lot. I had the same fears as you, but I was diagnosed with IBS.

You can always see a different doctor if you feel you are not being listened to
