hello. I was ran over at work by a 10,000 lb manlift with tracks. yeah. tracks like on tanks in the military. you should see my $300 red wing boots after the fact. I'm pretty sure they saved my foot. anyway, this accident happened in september of 2020 at work. I got ran over by the owner of the company. he didn't see me. it was an accident. anyway. the dr I seen from workmans comp I feel like brushed me off until I continued to tell him I was in pain in October. he had sent me to physical therapy because the break I had was on a non weight bearing bone. the physical therapist finally said he could do no more with me until he had clearance so he wanted the current dr to order another x ray because he thought there may be more wrong. I thought so too. the dr ordered new xrays and then finally seen my talar dome break. he didn't just see it in the new xrays but confirmed it in older ones he just missed it. he ordered an MRI and I had that in November. he continued to tell me to not weight bear at this point until January when I told him I was still in a lot of pain. he ordered another x ray and sent me to see a specialist. the specialist ordered surgery right away. all my major tendons and ligaments had split and fused around others. he had to unfuse them and reconstruct them. he then took out bone that had been broken and floating in my ankle. it is going on 3 weeks since surgery. I have been wearing the boot religiously. today though, as I moved from my scooter to the couch I felt a pop and my ankle hurts bad. I mean it hurts non stop all the time but now it is worse. I have lost sensitivity in my foot with the surgeon says is normal. however to me my foot feels so cold and my wife said it feels luke warm to her maybe a little chilled. do I need to be worried? I am. but is this bad or normal? my mind is freaking out because of the pop today. I hope someone can help ease my mind on here.
