I've had a cough for 3 months. It's horrible and causes vomiting and hoarseness. Dr has not found the cause but refuses to continue giving me the cough medicine that works because it contains a narcotic. What should I do? I need relief from this cough.

Hi there
I have come across your post and I have been struggling with a cough for about the past 7 months now with blocked throat, wheeze and a really bad throat feeling like I am not getting enough air. The Dr has tried everything for now ie chest xrays, bloods, PPI's, lung function tests, asthma inhalers etc. nothing is providing comfort, have you been for a chest xray at all?
