Persistent lymphatic tissue in throat

Greetings everyone!

Does anyone know what could be the cause of persistent lymphatic tissue in the throat it's been almost 2 years already since I noticed them, located under tonsils and at the base of the tongue? One of these lumps, always the same one, sometimes becomes inflammed and enlarged and goes back to normal size after 2-3 day, also on some of those lumps there is a white spot in size of a pinpoint Other than that I have sometimes a burning sensation in my throat, constant mucous in my nose and some bumps over my pharynx. I have already seen my GP she said it's a normal thing... but how could it be since I have these symptoms lol. I asked ENT spec. She said it's lymphatic tissue and I should use some pills to boost immune system. I did oral swab for bacterias and it came back as neg. Is this really a normal thing or what could be the cause of this?

I think I have the same issue. Can you post a picture? I've been told it maybe from allergies or acid reflux.

good to know I am not alone 😂 do you have some under your tonsils?? or at the base of your tongue?

I am not afraid of bumps on base of the tongue because they are taste buds but which is on wall behind of the tonsil it definitely scares me.

nah not the taste buds, like really far on the back down, where epiglottis is. seems like only I can reach them with my eye 😂 anyways I do have bumps on the back of my throat... They become inflamed and enlarged when I'm sick with flu... I have also those little lumps below tonsils eh, I was told those are lymphatic tissue

Same here when I had flu I got these .most terrible thing with me is sore throat and white tongue.I don't know why I already tested for hiv after risky exposure.it took one year how it possible the test couldn't pick up both antibodies or antigens.i tested for oral candidiasis result also came back negative.next month I planned to do multiple tests in including immunity and biopsy.

No way it's hiv... I already took like 4 tests they were all neg.and my last exposure was long ago. it could be some other sti maybe, I wanted to test for those but unfortunately in my country there are no tests for throat gonorrhea and chlamydia... Those bumps appeared for me 2 days after excessive drinking and dehydration for 3 days or so... I was told by my GP those are normal, and few other ENT specialist told me there are no pathological changes but I'm sure it is something when it burns occasionally and I have constant mucous in my nose that sometimes goes down my throat.

I had exposure two years ago and I recently tested for hiv it came back negative but still my heart says I caught hiv and my body can't able to produce antibodies.why me? I didn't test for gonorrhea or chlamydia too.next month I will do some tests.do you have white tongue? If you don't have white tongue it could be acid reflux

Its cobblestone throat. Caused by post nasal drip. The mucus that you have irritates the tissues back there.

just to write my update if anyone finds himself in the same situation. I've seen an ENT specialist and he checked my nose and throat and said that it's normal looking with some redness on the back of the throat (wall) and said that burning sensation is normal lol since I have some kind of chronic inflammation... He also checked the lumps and said that they are a normal finding.
