Persistent SORE THROAT with weird LUMPS😞

Hello everyone,

Please help!!! I've been complaining for the past year and a half from persistent sore throat with no pain but redness is always there! Recently some lumps (other than those on the back of throat where I think they are inflammed lymph nodes) appeared on the sides above the tonsils and i'm so concerned... I went to a doctor he prescribed PPI for the acid reflux and a steroid spray, I took the treatment for 1 month but I didn't see any change in my throat appearance.

Sometimes I feel like there is a band around my neck and I cough because of that feeling like something stuck there maybe it's excess mucus from nasal drip don't know...Is it normal to you?!!!
