Pet scan

First don't think when you get a pet scan it will work. false negative in my case. A tumor was found in my neck. ENT doctor, had me get a pet scan, but ENT would have beat the cancer was on my tongue. Went for pet scan, results showed I had cancer cells in the nose. Now surgery for biopsy, and tonsillectomy . ENT still believed cancer was on the tongue, so a biopsy of nose and tongue and tonsillectomy was done. Cancer from tissue samples was on the tongue. My point is pet scan cost me $9911.00 and didn't work. A biopsy of my nose. Doctor cost biopsy of nose $840.00. Hospital cost for biopsy of nose 3506.75. Cost of testing nose tissue $723..00 Total cost of is piece of crap scan was: $14980.75 And not only the waste of my personally time and lost wages for a day. I personally will never get in that piece of crap again.

I agree with you, its all about finding good help that is not so expensive. It seems you have got money to burn. I would keep paying for scans i believe one scan is enough to justify the means. You can have one scan and then expand on that and really ask questions and get deals and "the low down" on it. Do not keep paying for scans. One is enough.
