Hi i will need fusing of my lower spine soon has anyone had a Tops Premia System fitted

I don't think you will find too many people with one, clinical trials just started a year ago on the system with half the unlucky patients getting an old fashioned fusion and half the TOPS premia. I would imagine it is still in the evaluation stage in the eyes of the FDA. So, consider yourself lucky. I looked at the website and it looks very awesome. I always disliked the idea of a fusion, never being able to move in all planes of motion again. I truly hope this works out well with significant problems as I have a "surgical neck" that I am choosing to ignore and treat with an SCS for the pain LOL. I can't bear even the thought of a fusion, as an anesthesiologist I have peeked over the curtain at many neck fusion surgeries and they were too horrendous to consider for myself! So, please do return and let us know how your surgery goes even if you get no response, other than mine.
