petrol fumes

I suppose this post should go to a medical expert, but here goes anyway.

Yesterday while filling up with petrol, due to a faulty pump, his trousers got soaked in petrol.     We were travelling for approx 2 hours.  We got off with water and towels some of the petrol and drove with all 4 windows open (not widely).

We were wondering if there could be any health issues being exposed to these fumes.  (we sincerely hope not, we are in our 70s).

yeah .. .there could be some health issues like difficulty breathing if you have inhaled those fumes.

But, it seems to be unlikely as you havent mentioned those symptoms of breathing.

Hi Angela - Any ill effects would have made themselves known - difficulty breathing, fainting. Otherwise, you've survived and all is well.
