How long ago was your surgery, and was it done vaginally or abdominally?

A year in April, it was done (v) I've just been diagnosed with fibromyalgia because of the stress of the operation. I'm still feeling really really rough havnt recovered from the hysterectomy. I'm a single mum so I haven't had time to recover I'm always on the go. I was back doing everything a week after surgery. I've had a mental breakdown over it all. Sorry i m pouring everything out to you. I've just had a really bad day of pain and am struggling

We all are stressed out and frustrated with life.. So its okie.. This place is to vent out your stress, anger frustration and helplessness.. I can understand what u are going thru and wish I could give u some good advice.. But I feel helpless myself and do not have kids yet .

I heard diet and yoga helps.. Also cupping helps a lot. Try that if u can

Well dang, Ann-Marie. I was hoping that you'd only had your surgery a few months ago. It seems that a lot of us here have had some episodic pain for awhile after surgery, but not all of us still have it more than a year later. Have you talked to your gyn or endo specialist or surgeon about the continuing pain? I know that even the thought of talking to those medicos might feel overwhelming.

Just like an in-person support group, this is one place you can always talk about just how bad things are without having to worry about upsetting us. Nobody knows endo pain like we do. It may be a bit different for each of us; it all sucks and it's not in our heads.

I hope that each day gets better for you, even if only a smidgen.

Bless you lovely........we all know how u feel, I'm going to hospital to speak to my gyno about my 4th operation. I think my next one will be a hysterectomy if this one doesn't help........this is so the place to rant, moan & groan bcoz we're all going through it too, maybe in different way's but only us ladies know what its like to have this b**ch of a disease. ........

Although i can't help u with personal experiences of having a hysterectomy all i know is it does take a while for things to get back to normal...... my scars kill me somedays especially my belly button scar if my trousers have been digging in and the inside of my stomach aches...... my last lapaoscopy was 18months ago..... all i suggest is going back to your spealist and seeing what he says.

Xxxxxx chin up your not alone xxxxxxx
