Phase of social anxiety

My anxiety is peaking at the moment. It's so bad I have a very hard time getting outside. Social confrontations gives me instantly panic attacks. I'm going through a tough period of time with some big changes and I'm feeling super stressed out and tired. It's like I can't take it anymore. I still try to go outside and take small little 15 minute walks, but everything time I feel panic. I'm so done with all of this. It was getting a little better a while ago, but I feel like I've been smashes down all the way down again. Any tips?

You should see a doctor and counselor. Both things will help you.

I've had for 2 years, didn't help me enough so they said I could go. Back then I was able to do at least some basic stuff like taking the bus and doing groceries alone. I'm going go live at a family member for a while for structure and someone who have knowledge about it. But at the moment everything seems impossible to do without anxiety, stress, panic... All the negative stuff.

Did you take any medications, such as antidepressants, anti anxiety,... ? I have general anxiety to the point I could not move, so I took medications. They helped a lot. Xanax helps me quick and a short time. I have been taking it every day until Duloxetine fully kicked in.

I took prozac for a year and a couple other natural medication. It didn't help my problems enough to actually take it unfortunately. I am super afraid and alert on everything I take that does something on my mind due of negative experiences in the past.

Antidepressants take a long long time to make you feel better. I have been taking Duloxetine for 25 weeks, starting at lowest dose. Now, I am at a maximum dose for me, on it for 10 weeks.I just feel 80% better. My doctor said to give it 3 more months to work. If I don't have xanax in the past 25 weeks, I would not live at this time. I have anxiety many times during a day and more severe at a busy place. Before I go to a store, I take Xanax, it helped me calm down. Can you ask your doctor to give you some benzodiazepines (Xanax, ativan, ....). You should not ask for Xanax specifically because your doctor might think you are addicted to the drugs, just ask for a medication to help your panic attack until the antidepressant fully works.

I hope you feel back to your normal life soon.

Hmm just something which works on short time base is something I haven't tried yet. At least a SSRI like Prozac is something I won't take anymore. In my country Xanax isn't as common. Usually it's Oxazepam what they prescribe. I will think about it for a while. Even getting to a doctor/outside is a nightmare right now. I'm hyperventilating a lot last couple of days. Tomorrow I'll move away from the only safezone I have. I feel like I'm going to die.
