I take Phospha 250 Neutral. I usually need 3 tabs 3-4 times a day to function. But it causes diarrhea and have only been able to tolerate half that. This has me bedridden now 4 months since I can't take my full dose. Has anyone tried Immodium or an antidiarreal medicine to stop the diarrhea while taking phosphorus supplements? I'm kinda nervous to try it. Thanks.

why are you taking so much phosphorous? The darrhea is probably due to your body trying to get rid of the excess phosphorous. too much phosphorus is toxic and will lead to diarrhea and organ failure. what was your phosphorus level on a blood test? if it was low it should have been followed up with a 24 hour urine phosphorus. depending on your symtpoms when i had low phosphorus i found great improvement in symptoms after taking vitamin d3 2000 daily for 3 months.
